Kids Pilates on the farm: Moo-ve stretch and explore PLUS day entry!
Looking for a fun and active way to start the day this summer?
Join us for Kids Pilates on the Farm: Moo-ve, Stretch & Explore, a unique 1 hour experience combining movement, mindfulness and animals every Thursday in August.
Led by Laura from The Grounded Practise Pilates, children will enjoy a specially designed pilates session that encourages movement, balance, coordination and concentration in a relaxed and supportive environment.
The session includes:
• Fun warm-up activities
• Child-friendly pilates exercises
• Simple breathing and relaxation techniques
• A special animal encounter
• Full day admission to Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm Summer Fun on the Farm.
Pilates can help children improve body awareness, coordination, balance and focus, all while having fun and making new friends. It's a fantastic opportunity to get children away from screens, moving their bodies and enjoying the benefits of being surrounded by nature.
Following the session, families can enjoy everything the farm has to offer, including animal feeding, racing pigs, indoor soft play, outdoor adventure play, 40 acres of countryside to explore and adds ons of guinea pig and highland cow fishing.
Laura holds recognised Pilates qualifications, is Enhanced DBS checked and has experience delivering engaging sessions for children.
Please note that this is an activity session and not a childcare provision. Parents and guardians will need farm entry tickets to gain access and remain responsible for their children throughout the event and must remain on-site at the farm during the session.
Mats are provided. Please arrive 15 minutes before the session start time to make sure you have time to get down to the barn and in place by the start time.
Suitable for children roughly aged 4 - 8 who can comfortably participate in a one-hour group activity. Limited tickets availble each session. Book now!
*These sessions are not valid for free child entry though your annual pass, but you can use your special annual pass discount on these.
A screen-free summer activity that helps children move, focus, build confidence and enjoy the outdoors.
