Join us for a truly unforgettable 30-minute Donkey Walking Experience at Cholderton Rare Breeds Farm! You'll get hands-on time with our adorable, friendly donkeys, learning their names, personalities, and maybe even a few donkey-sized secrets before heading off on a gentle guided walk through the farm.
This isn’t a race… it’s a slow and steady adventure led by our long-eared stars. It’s perfect for animal lovers of all ages who want a calm and charming way to connect with nature and the cutest companions around!
Important Info:
- Minimum age to walk your own donkey is 12 years old
- Children under 12 can still enjoy the experience but must share a donkey with a participating adult (adult would need the donkey walking ticket, child just needs farm day admission)
- Children must be accompanied by an adult; accompanying adults not walking their own donkey only need to purchase standard farm day entry for that day.
- Farm entry is included for all donkey walking ticket holders, so you can arrive earlier to enjoy a day exploring everything Cholderton has to offer! (anyone just accompanying will need to purchase a day ticket)
